The beauti- and eventful days in Normandy were over and now it was time to say godbye. Since we have seen quite a lot already in the Normandy region we had chosen for our last day in Trouville a somewhat longer excursion. Our intention was to explore the Cotentin peninsula that protrudes into the English Channel between Isigny-sur-Mer and Gouville. Our days in Dieppe already were really great but our trip had some more beautiful places in Normandy in store, that enthused us just as much. From the cliffs along the Alabaster Coast the route led to the Flower Coast. The contrast between those two coast lines on the shores of the English Channel couldn’t be bigger. After our days passed in Dieppe our trip let us to Trouville. During our drive to get there we stopped in Rouen. From a number of guides, we read before our trip, we knew that this city is worth the visit. But what we did see during our walk around the old town did exceed our expectations by far.
