Dear Follower and friends,

last March my sister told me that one absolutely has to have his own blog these days. I asked her: And what would I write about on this blog? She answered: You know the Hawaiian Islands so well and there are so many people out there dreaming about spending their vacation there. So tell them about the islands.

Then one day in April 2015 I sat in front of my computer and got started. Since I didn’t know much about how to start a blog, I was a bit overwhelmed. Which name to choose? Which system/provider best suits me? And which theme fits best?

The most difficult part was to set up the basics. Once I started to write, I had so many ideas floating my head, that know I just don’t have enough time to write about all the things I want to share with you. So there is a reason to come back from time to time.

I was enrolled in a training about online marketing on Fridays and Saturdays. So my intention behind this blog was mostly to entertain many readers, but it was planned to become something like my digital business card.

And now, 18 months later, I just had visitor number 1,000 on my site. This is a good reason for me to thank you for your visits and showing interest in my latest postings. Thank you very much for following my blog.

I would be very happy, if you continue to come back to my site and hopefully spend a few minutes with my postings and pictures.
