This is a pretty easy tour that most of you will be able to walk. Along forest roads and smooth paths you will reach the summit. A spectacular panorama awaits you from the top of the Sonnjoch. Starting point is the Große Ahornboden, a beautiful maple forest, at the Eng alpine village. The Schöttelkarspitze sits in the middle of the Karwendel mountains. To get to the summit you need to be in shape in bring some time. The ascent is sometimes a bit steep but still easy to manage.
